Perhaps my blog either less blog and more obituary but what they want, have been going lately I greatly admire characters .
Today it was the turn of the great caricaturist Gabriel Vargas.
I'm sorry not to have had the opportunity to meet in person ( was always one of my goals ) but due to his advanced age (over 90 YR I) was very difficult to go out to public events (the last I remember was in 2007 in The Estanquillo ). But I know through his work early editions and collections of the Family Burron, original drawings at the Museum of Estanquillo and maximum pattern "On Traffic" did for 11 years and which impressed the Secretary Education of your time. Cartoonist
early ( at age 11 had won a scholarship to etudier in Pa ris), imprisoned for 13 years by drawing "Life of Christ" ( morning I put the comic ), creator of the cartoon more emblematic of Mexico ( why it is considered one of the world's leading sociologists ) Gabriel Vargas leaves us with 95 years of age but let thousands and thousands of pictures to laugh and reflect.
Vargas was the writer Gabriel graph of a Mexico that has disappeared.
