seems that it is earthquake season. First in Haiti and now in Chile. But there are differences between these two abysmal:
While the earthquake in Chile was 800 times more intense than that of Haiti, the humanitarian catastrophe in Haiti was 1000 times higher. This is also an indication that the more corrupt and controversial is a country's worse prepared for any eventuality.
Still, an earthquake is no less tragic, and although the number of deaths in Chile is only 800 ( compared with 200 000 Haiti), it is time once again in solidarity with them (and was made in 1973).
As far as I'm concerned, I dedicate this cartoon to Fica and Cao, with whom I could not talk yet, but I hope that they and their families are safe.
In the words of Salvador Allende "will return to walk along the wide boulevards" ( just a matter of desire to take a little ).
