's fifth album Loreena, produced by the artist and filled with an exotic array of instruments from the cello uillean pipes, dumbeg, tabla and oud, has sold several million copies worldwide. Encompassing English influences, Celtic and Moroccan, follows a path of inspiration from Ireland to Santiago de Compostela and the Middle East. The musical scenes of the poems of San Juan de la Cruz and Shakespeare are eclectic and rich compositions sources including the seductive and dramatic works, "The Mystic's Dream" and "Marrakesh Night Market".
In his travels, says Loreena, examines the issues that resonate across the centuries: "Who was God? What is religion? What is spirituality? What was revealed and what was concealed and What was and what was mirror mask? ".
