Loreena The second recording, also produced by the artist, presents music with a fresh and unexpected. This collection of winter carols and lesser-known songs was recorded in 1987 at the Church of Our Lady in Guelph, Ontario, and in Ireland, a Benedictine monastery and the Tyrone Guthrie Centre in Annaghmakerrig.
"The arrangements are sparse, but somehow I felt that reflected the dynamics of the seasons of autumn and winter, and there may be a great beauty in such simplicity," concludes the artist.
