love Whether we reach the merits of the case or not, it is easy to see that the feeling of romantic love is a primitive engine and universal human drives us ever changing our view of things. Without this sense, our world would be completely different, without exception, culture and customs. Electrochemical phenomena that the brain undergoes during this period are consistent with a series of evolutionary rate purposes, the main one being the preservation of our species. This dynamic cerebral restructured again when we have children, and we are compelled to keep with us until they grow up and fend for themselves them in this world, ultimately, repeat the cycle. The most obvious factor that prompts us to look at someone's appearance. There are all kinds of studies showing that we have a clear inclination to see ourselves attracted to people who are like our parents. It has also been shown to be normal people like us who look like ourselves. Psychologist David Perrett photographing his patients in a study, then altered the photo to look like the same person but changed sex. By displaying the altered photo between others, the patient often chose himself as the person who appealed to him physically. Not even realized that it was themselves. A non-chemical secondary sexual characteristic, is the personality of the person who attracts us. We also refer this to his tastes, his sense of humor and so forth. Again the mark left by our parents is evident. We look for people who have let and ways of being that we have seen at home since we were little.
But undoubtedly the most famous feature is sexual pheromones. Etymologically the word means "one who brings the excitement / agitation." Unable to determine the specific weight of this substance, but we know well how it works. They are found mainly in the urine or sweat, and are odorless. To detect our noses have the vomeronasal organ, which some identify with a sixth sense. From this perception, the brain can discern if the person before us has an immune system similar to or different from ours. The more different are the immune systems of the two people, the greater the attraction. Thus the recombination of genes is much richer, and more likely to have a more healthy offspring. The U.S. Department of Agriculture has been argued that the effects of so-called aphrodisiac foods are based on popular tradition and not on facts. However, the weight of this belief makes things still remain checked in this regard. Discovery Health magazine lists among the most popular aphrodisiac asparagus (for its vitamin E), red peppers (for the endorphins), chocolate (phenylethylamine by our body also secretes when we're in love) or oysters (by high in zinc) among others. The placebo effect, and a priori desire to make these foods with the intention to please someone distort the measure and still leave issues clarified.
